Abibifahodie cannot depend on institutions designed to contain Black possibility. Liberation requires structures that can educate, organize, exchange, create, protect, remember, and reproduce themselves according to Black priorities.

The Abibitumi Conference + Abibifahodie Festival 2026 gathers around that work on December 12–13 at Abibitumi Headquarters in Akuapem Mampong. Its theme is direct: Construction of Black Civilization.

The call for contributions is over, but the gathering still has to be built. Attendees are not decorative. They carry questions, knowledge, resources, networks, and responsibilities. Their task is to identify which ideas can become practices and which practices can become lasting Black-controlled institutions.
