Abibifahodie is not achieved when Black people merely appear on screen. It advances when we control the conditions of production, interpretation, circulation, and memory.

The Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival 2026 begins October 16 in Accra. A liberation-minded audience watches for more than plot. It asks whose worldview structures the story, which relationships the film strengthens, and whether the work enlarges our capacity to build.

Invite someone who is ready to discuss those questions without surrendering the terms of the conversation. The gathering can become practice for the critical, organized cultural public that Abibifahodie requires.

Follow official AAFF updates and prepare to participate.
