This is a D.O.O.R. ecosystem event: a practical gathering for Black-controlled cultural production, circulation, and institution-building.
A liberation festival cannot measure its value only by the number of people who watched. The deeper measure is what the audience became capable of doing afterward.
The Abibitumi Abibifahodie Film Festival 2026 features online screenings October 16–17, followed by the awards ceremony on October 17 in the evening at the Exhibition Hall, National Theatre, Accra. Decide what your viewing can produce: support a creator, preserve a testimony, host a discussion, teach a young person, or help circulate work through Black-controlled channels.
Write the commitment before you arrive. Abibifahodie becomes concrete when images feed disciplined choices and those choices strengthen collective capacity.
